Established in Melbourne in 1986, Headland Properties is a family-run, medium sized business and was founded on the cooperative expertise of a property consultancy, architectural firm and a legal practice.

With a combined focus on property development and investment, the company was a pioneer of the conversion to residential and has firmly established a reputation within the commercial and residential development sectors.

Headland has a sound understanding and appreciation of what is essential in a high quality development and has achieved a diverse record of well-conceived projects and architectural gems since the company’s inception.

Its concentration remains in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs and some of Headland’s more significant projects include the re-development of the historic Bryant and May match factory in Richmond into a high tech computer centre, The Madison, twelve storey apartments in Queen Street in Melbourne’s CBD and ARK Richmond, ten storey mixed-use development on Bridge Road, Richmond.

Headland Properties is headed by Greg Taylor and his three sons. Greg is a solicitor and company director with 40 years experience in property and development.

Each of Greg’s sons Gene, Alistair and Stuart are involved in the property industry and bring to Headland a diverse range of interests and abilities, including construction, finance, commerce and agency experience.

Roch Terry leads the management and accounting side of the business and has been at Headland for more than 16 years.
